Meet Tay

Hi beauties! I’m Taylor. I am a native North Carolinian currently living in a small town named Elon. I am married to my high school sweetheart, Connor. We have a sweet fur baby named Mia who is a spoiled Shih Tzu with lots of personality and toys. I fell in love with skin care and makeup/beauty products pretty early in life and I have personally used/tried at least one product from nearly every brand that Sephora and Ulta carry. I also have a lot of ride or die drugstore products and brands that I love. No matter your beauty product knowledge/skill level or budget, I’ve got you covered. Basically, if you need recommendations and honest reviews/opinions on beauty products, I’m ya girl! You will find all kinds of makeup looks on my social media accounts and on this blog. Glowy, natural, bold, glam, you name it. I am a firm believer that makeup should not mask or transform your God given face. It should enhance your natural beauty and make you feel like you can rock the day or night ahead of you.

One of my favorite things about makeup is there are no rules! Makeup artistry is a form of self-expression and you can create whatever look or vibe you’re in the mood for. For as long as I can remember I have loved playing with makeup and taking care of my skin. After all, healthy skin is the foundation for beautiful makeup and experimentation leads to amazing discoveries and a whole new level of excitement. Creating different looks and trying different trends, techniques, formulas, and products gets me SO hype! I would love to create my own makeup brand one day (big dreams, I know). For now, I will be continuing to work on practicing and perfecting my skill. I hope to do more bridal makeup in the future. Being part of someone’s special day and getting to be the person that makes them feel their best on one of the most important days of their lives would be an honor. Aside from makeup, you may find some lifestyle and fashion content on here as well from time to time and you can bet Mia will make plenty of appearances. She’s my baby girl!

Outside of makeup, I work a full time job in insurance. I love spending time with family and friends, shopping, organizing (so satisfying), and traveling. My husband and I decided when we got married that we would take at least one trip to Europe each year. We love Europe! I am also a total goof ball and love to pick on myself and sometimes others if I know them well enough. Laughter is the best medicine!

My goal here is to help women feel more confident and beautiful and share my knowledge along the way and I am so incredibly happy to have you here.
